GRENZERDE

GRENZERDE in 2012 is the first Dance Theater piece that startet a series of theater pieces for young people that uses hip hop to explore European history and deepen mutual understanding, reinterpreting themes such as war, peace, borders, and reconciliation through dance.

Every piece has a preparation time of 2 weeks and result in a full length evening piece. There is a Team of 1 Artistic Direction, 3 Choreographers, a Musician and the Team that take care of over 60 young people from Europe.

Grenzerde is about the French and German war during WW II on the border of Germany and France.
